TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. By entering this Prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions governing this Promotion and by any other requirements set out in related promotional materials. Please retain a copy for your information.
  2. The Prize draw is open to residents in England, Scotland and Wales only, aged 18 or over, excluding employees, and their immediate families of the Promoter or any company affiliated with the Promoter, their agents or any other persons professionally connected with the draw.
  3. The Promotion will run from 00:01 BST on 1st November 2024 (“Opening Date”) and closes at 23:59 on 31st October 2025 (Closing Date) The “Promotion Period” with one winner drawn on the last day of every month during the Promotion Period.
  4. Your contact details will be entered into the prize draw by enquiring about a training session at Blum UK. Visit yourworldmadebetter.com/tradespeople to access the microsite during the promotional period. Once there, complete the online form by providing the following information: full name and email address to enquire about the training and enter the promotion.
  5. Each entrant may submit only one entry per month during the promotional period.
  6. Each entrant may only win one Prize throughout the entire Promotion Period.
  7. Internet access, email address, and telephone number are required to submit an entry.
  8. No purchase is required to submit an entry.
  9. Prizes: A total of 12 Prizes are available to be won during the promotional period worth £499.99 each, 1 prize will be awarded per month. The Fitter’s Box contains: ECODRILL, Universal Individual template, Drilling template for MOVENTO and TANDEM, Universal Drilling Template, Drilling template for Hinges, Drilling template for BLUMOTION & TIP-ON, Front gap template for LEGRABOX and MOVENTO, Clip-on part for bi-fold Hinge, Drilling template for Blum distance bumper, Front gap template for TANDEMOX all contained within a Systainer 3 box.
  10. Winner Selection: Winners will be selected at random under the supervision of an independent adjudicator from all valid entries received within the relevant Promotional Period on the first working day following the month of entry.
  11. Winner Notification: Each monthly winner will be notified via the email provided upon entry up to 14 days after the month-end closing date during the promotional period, no later than the 14th day of the subsequent month following entry. Winners will be asked to provide evidence of identity including date of birth (passport, driving licence or equivalent form of identification that clearly states the winner’s date of birth), telephone number and delivery address. County of residence will be requested for the purpose of the winners list if no objection is received. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winners. Winners will then have 14 days from first contact to respond and confirm acceptance of the Prize. If the winners do not respond to the Promoter within this time, reject their prize or are ineligible, they will forfeit their Prize and the Promoter shall select other winner(s) at random from all remaining valid entries. The process will repeat for three months after which any remaining prizes will be null and void. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email account during this time, including junk folders.
  12. Prize Delivery: Prizes will be delivered within 28 days of valid claim and the completion of the verification process via DPD courier. It is the responsibility of winners to supply the correct personal information in order to claim their prize. The Promoter will not be liable for the non-delivery of the Prize caused by the provision of wrong information. A winner’s email address or telephone number cannot be updated after entry.
  13. The Promoter will make available a winners list containing the surname and county of residence of the winners. In accordance with the applicable Privacy laws, winners have the right to object to their details being published by emailing [email protected]. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested by them. You may request a copy of the winners list by emailing [email protected]. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse such requests.
  14. Abuse and Disqualification: The Promoter seeks to run a fair and secure promotion and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entry/ies (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified. Any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. The Promoter reserves the right at any point to:
    1. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winners through multiple means by requesting such information it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose including asking for proof of ID including age (passport, driving licence, or equivalent form of identification that clearly states the winner’s date of birth). Entry or a Prize may be withheld until verification is completed.
    2. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
    3. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable, or Mailinator.
    4. Disqualify entries (bulk or otherwise) from individual syndicates, consumer groups, or third parties, incomplete entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means.
    5. Disqualify entries beyond the maximum allowed, or those using techniques such as ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking identity by manipulating IP addresses, using aliases or identities other than their own or any other means.
    6. Disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process.
    7. Disqualify entries which, in some other way, do not meet the requirements of these Terms & Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements, or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.
  15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure, technical reasons or otherwise. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to www.yourworldmadebetter.com.
  16. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
  17. Any tax liability arising from receipt of a Prize will be the responsibility of the recipient.
  18. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation, this also includes the selling of Prizes to third parties. In the event, for any reason, the Prize winners do not take an element of the Prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the Prize will be forfeited by the winners and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the Prize. If, for any reason, a Prize, or part of a Prize, is not available in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another Prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
  19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability in any way for the inability to meet delivery timeframes in the event of any national or local lockdowns, any circumstances affecting the Prize delivery supply chain or for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God, or any other circumstances.
  20. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries.
  21. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.
  22. The Promoter disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with this Promotion.
  23. The decision of the Promoter in all matters under its control is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  24. Any entries that the Promoter considers in their absolute discretion to be illegal or fraudulent will be disqualified from this Promotion.
  25. By entering this Promotion, you give the Promoter and its agencies your consent to process your personal data for the purpose of conducting this promotion only. The Promoter will disclose winners’ personal information to its agent Cairn to assist in conducting this promotion, fulfilling the Prize or communicating with entrants. Any personal data the Promoter or its agency obtains shall only be kept during the Promotion Period and for a period of three months following the end of the Promotion, following this time it shall be deleted or destroyed.
  26. Personal data will not be disclosed to an unconnected third party unless your positive consent has been obtained. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here.
  28. If any part(s) of these Terms & Conditions are legally ruled to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remainder will not be affected and will continue in full force and effect.
  29. By entering, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  30. If there is a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and those in any promotional material, these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
  31. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the law of the relevant country for each entrant, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant country they reside in.
